I didn’t come anywhere close to my goal of getting the business fully on its feet and earning enough for that plane ticket to Paris…(le sigh)…but I still consider the launch a success. The crisis of suddenly losing our campaign manager right before the launch was not a total disaster, thanks to the business building she’d helped with over the past year. We sold only 17 ebooks on “Bestseller Day”—a far cry from the 1000 we were aiming for—but throughout the launch, its Amazon ranking rose from #2817390 to #615,960!

Good trends on all the versions!

We sold exactly zero courses and packages, but they’re out there now! And finally, so much of my energy and time went into the vortex of national chaos we’re all struggling with right now—but there are glimmers of hope emerging there, too.

Overall, we got some eyeballs on our stuff, I have started to talk about what this work means to me, and there are now nine new things in the world that were not there before—good things I’m very proud of! Future parents who need our information and philosophy will now be better able to find them.

The day after the launch ended, my whole family of origin synchronistically took a train trip together. Mom, my two brothers, and even Dad—his ashes in a vintage potato chip can—stayed with our “adopted” big brother Paul, who lived with our family when we were young. There was a hilarious moment as we finished our Rummikub marathon in the lounge car, and the first, second, third, and fourth winner were declared!

Playing by mom’s rules, collaboration always beats competition!

To commemorate the end of the launch, I added The Winning Family ebook to The Library as the mountain scenery went so beautifully by. I got two new $upporting $ubscribers in the last month—and that’s an unequivocal success! Thank you to all my subscribers!
