It's true. No Adirondack chair was safe while she was on campus. She was a holy terror. For Adirondack chairs.

Fabulous, important post, and so beautifully written, Kristen. SO much of history has been rewritten. I was hoping to find an unofficial website for Mills! (And now the murderers have bi-coastal campuses and surely travel junkets to make sure everything is fine.)

The destruction of Mills College is still a painful heartbreak for sure. No way to cover up or sugarcoat how Mills was destroyed.

I feel the heartbreak, even though I mostly came onto Mills' campus for my kids' soccer games. As a (former) resident of the area, though, the profound loss of what Mills represented -- and what it's being replaced with -- is very troubling. 😢 Your work to preserve the spirit, history, and legacy will not be wasted! 💪🏽💋
