Apron Fans, Feast Your Eyes...
Scenes from my apron collection, and where to see me wearing more of them.
Aprons seem to be a theme this fall, which started with a food lecture and will end with a food class!
Fashion blogger & history writer Moya Stone posted an interview with me about my apron collection this week. Enjoy…!

1) A friend (an Guardian Angel!) of mine found this beautiful red, white, and blue apron at a garage sale. I wore it in 2008 fundraiser, “Bake Back the White House.” Yes, that’s cardboard Obama’s elbow!
2) Photo shoot with All Things Vintage for my Vintage Cookbook Lecture (watch it here!)
3) My uncle wears polkadots well, don’t you think?
4) My play, The Dirndl Diaspora, which got an honorable mention this summer in the L.A. Underground Film Forum, mentions aprons a lot.
5) In which, one of the characters watch the play here and order the script here) makes a dirndl out of Kente Cloth. I found an apron to wear with my favorite pink dirndl up at Oaktoberfest! It's not vintage, but I am an Afrofuturist at heart!
I also wear aprons when I teach my hybrid nutrition class, Fiberlicious! I’ll be starting a class in about a month, please join the wait list if you’re interested or share with a friend!

When I saw the title of the blog, I was hoping I would see the red, white, and blue one. The minute I saw it I thought "This is perfect for Kristen." And I remember you were so impressed that it was only 5 bucks. Win, win!
