The Winning Family Audiobook hits stores on May 12th!

Mother’s Day is next weekend, and I’m making time to celebrate my mom’s life work.

When we become parents, we become different people, faced with the profound responsibility of creating a universe for another person. She had the insight to realize, when we were young, how powerfully her interactions with us shaped our reality, and along with that, understanding how her interactions with her own parents had shaped hers—for better or worse. This consciousness lifted her into the role of a researcher, and when she broke every last expectation set by her upbringing and claimed her expertise as a Doctor of Education, she became a teacher.

My own life as a mom has been so much easier, and so much more of a pleasure, having had her guidance.

And these past few years have been a real push getting her work out there to support other parents! It’s like giving birth over and over again… and this spring we’re launching not just the audiobook but a lot of other creative babies!
