Glad you survived! Had me worried there for a minute you were going to swat yourself right off the freeway. It's a good month for gentleness for sure. Lovely piece! Meanwhile, fun fact. In 5th grade my young teacher told me I'd misspelled gnat, that it was spelled n-a-t. I held my ground. Did 30 students produce 30 phones to look up the word? No because all their phones were home, attached on curly cords to the kitchen wall! So everyone gathered around the big dictionary and we flipped to gnat. I was vindicated and the cheers (as I imagine them now) were deafening. Was any of it captured on video? No, because the camcorders were like 15 feet long and home stored in their big black cases, but I swear it happened.
